Denver Public Library Grand Reopening

Overview

After COVID-19 and a series of significant renovations, the Denver Public Library was ready to open to the public again in November of 2024. Due to the extended closure, and the new facilities created during the massive renovation, it was important for DPL to properly and effectively market the library’s grand reopening.

The Challenge
With a very short timeline, multiple tiers of government approval, and limited resources, we had to create a campaign that was 1) aesthetic and easily recognizable for multiple placements 2) appealing to children and adults 3) able to capture existing branding and campaign slogans with a new, exciting twist 4) reached all target demographics with one style and message.
Our Strategy

Our strategy for this short-timeline campaign was to target the audiences most likely to RSVP and attend the grand opening event, while also educating key demographics about the library’s re-opening. To do this we created 12 visual assets that would be recognizable and quickly associated with Denver Public Library across multiple platforms.
